Resident of Mountains I've been fortunate to born & brought up in the Western
Himalayan, State of Himachal Pradesh; with icing on the
cake Shimla.

I've been walking the trails and scrambling the mountains as long as I can remember, and made my regular excursions into the wilderness, and travelled across the state throughout my childhood and college years. Accredits:

Cairns: cairn is a human-made pile (or stack) of stones raised for a purpose, usually as a marker or as a burial mound. The word cairn comes from the Scottish Gaelic.
Cairns can be used to mark hiking trails, especially in mountain regions at or above the tree line.

to have alot, to have seen and done.

And alot of it lies beyond , these high peaks tresures the annual migration of shepherds from Kangra,Una, and Chamba who would venture in some high mountain passes of Lahaul and Chamba.

Neelkanth glacier is the main glacier in the Thirot Nala• catchment, a tributary of the Chandrabhaga River adjoining the Miyar catchment. This glacier is 7.2 km in length along the centreline and has a surface area of 6.27 km2.

Nala: A nullah or nala (Hindustani or "nallah" in Punjabi) is an 'arm of the sea', stream, or watercourse, a steep narrow valley.

Joshimath is just an example and we are still not learning why is that when the situation is out of hands everyone from people, authorities, government, media , etc make a high voltage performance. Is it because it's now the need of hour, remember with whom you are trying to compete.

Understand the geology of the Himalayan regions as they are directly complying tectonics along with the climate change.

Now again having development at cost of nature don't be an ignant, its each one us now on individual level who have to take decisions , understand sustainability and when venturing highlands with aim to leave our comfort home and live and experience this nature primitively.

For past many years disseminated self in different works of life, one burgeoned as an Corporate Manager for global IT companies, and other more to the self into a Mountaineer, but words kept haunting from Ruskin’s book “once you have mountains in your blood there is no escape” and finally in 2015 made a choice to walk the mountains on mind and “Adyalaya (अद्यलय)” a Sanskrit name for “Lord Shiva” meaning “Resident of Mountains” was founded.
