Every year on the occasion of Ganpati celebration in our building I contribute a new flavour of cake for Prasad. This is purely as we are so grateful to Bappa for the people we live around who have become our first family.

This year we chose the marble cake and we baked around 3.5 kgs which gave us 180 pieces and the joy of offering this prasad to Bappa and then sharing with our society friends is unmatched.

We got amazing feedback and are totally energized to keep baking for the year. ❤️

Baking his 17th birthday cake was as exciting as baking for his return gifts when he was a small boy approx 3 or 4 years. 🧑‍🍳🎊

Similarly, he has been part of so many experiments that I have made as he is one of my son's closest buddies and by default part of my baking experiments and journey. Has always been so supportive and encouraging. 💗🫶🧿

Now, he is a hard core chocolate lover but as a young boy he loved blueberry cakes. 🫐😊

He wanted a chocolate and coffee cake for his 17th and he gets exactly what he wants.🤟

A chocolate coffee sponge, with coffee mousse filling and 55% dark chocolate frosting.

This cake is a simple Dutch truffle cake that travelled 30 kms and it was intact.

The receiver was a 10 year old enthusiastic entomophile, lover of insects.

So I created a collage of cute looking 6 legged beings, took a print on photo paper and put them on a cake. We covered half the cake with cake soil and put these little beings on it.

Cake was very well appreciated....this one was ordered by a loving aunt for her nephew.
