Every December, our kitchen starts smelling like citrus, spice, and pure holiday nostalgia… and that can only mean one thing: Stollen is back. ✨🤌🏻

Studded with fruits, wrapped in a snowy dusting of sugar, and soft marzipan! It’s our favourite tradition to bring to your table all over again. 🤩

Stollen dates back to 15th century Germany, where it was created as a special Christmas bread for the festive season. Its snowy sugar coating is said to represent winter’s first snowfall! 🌨️

World Sandwich Day’s got us reminiscing about the days when our ovens were filled with Bánh Mìs, our counters stacked with tacos, and our kitchen smelled like heaven (and a bit of chaos)! 🤌🏻😋😋

Those sandwiches were a mix of stories, experiments, and late-night ‘let’s try this!’ moments that made our bakery feel like a delicious playground. 🤤♥️

Every Diwali, there’s that one smell that reaches you before the diyas are even lit: The unmistakable aroma of ghee hitting a hot pan, spices blooming in the air, and someone in the background shouting, “Don’t touch that yet!” 🪔

It’s the sound and scent of home. Of chaos, laughter, and love all happening at once.
Of sitting cross-legged on the floor, waiting for that first batch of karanjis to emerge from the kitchen: hot, golden, a little uneven, and absolutely perfect. You’d burn your fingers, lick the sweet or savoury filling off your thumb, and still go back for another. 😋

This year, we decided to bake our own little piece of that nostalgia.
Introducing the CrustWorthy Matar Karanji: still flaky, still comforting, made with a buttery shortcrust pastry, a green pea filling, infused with garam masala, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom, and balanced with the gentle smokiness of cheddar cheese to add that extra warmth and depth. ✨✨

It’s been way too long since we dropped a new special, hasn’t it?

Between hirings and building up our dream team, we hit pause on specials for a bit. But here’s the thing: turns out, we really can’t stay away from them for too long. 🥰

And just when we were wondering what to bring back… a good friend of ours .tejas answered! He sourced Spelt grain all the way from the Netherlands, and suddenly, bam! the idea hit us.

✨ Spelt Sourdough. ✨

Meet our newest (and limited edition!) special: Spelt Sourdough.
Crafted with 50% spelt flour and 100% love, this loaf is everything your sourdough dreams are made of.

But wait: what’s Spelt?
Think of it as wheat’s cooler, older cousin. Around since 5000 BC, it’s higher in protein, easier to digest, packed with flavour, and has lower gluten. Basically, ancient grain royalty.

Here’s the catch though: we’ve only got a small stash of this grain. Once it’s gone, so is the sourdough. 😋😋

So if you’re already drooling, we’d say, grab yours before someone else does. Because this one? It’s not sticking around for long. 😇

Four years ago, CrustWorthy started with a lot of loaf. 🍞❤️

Since then, it’s grown into something bigger than bread: a team, a journey, a little world of its own. 🥹

We didn’t run offers or roll out any specials this time. Instead, we gave ourselves a day away as a thank-you to the team. 🥰🥳

Last weekend, we stepped out of the bakery and into spaces that reminded us to breathe: misty hills, a wada steeped in history, a quiet riverside temple, and a farmhouse where time felt slower. 😇🪴

There was chai, there was cake, there were belly laughs and soft silences. 🎂🎊

And at the heart of it all, there were people; the ones who’ve shown up, stayed, built, believed. ♥️

Here’s to four years of CrustWorthy, and a journey full of gratitude, warmth, and filled stomachs. 😋4️⃣

What started as an idea by to celebrate our bakes with the community turned into a warm, toasty afternoon of food, laughter, and conversation. 🤌🏻✨
