This was an exact replica of the Chocolate cake I made last year with roses encrusted below the lid.
This time it's blue flowers with rasmalai hearts to adorn the top.
So well..!!
It's a Rasmalai cake in a totally new design..

My stint with baking started as far back as my childhood days, when my father used to bake, ranging from various types of sponge cakes and puddings to donuts and chocolates. Years later, when I shifted to the US with my family, I started exploring my own passion for baking. Believe me, my first cake was a disaster! It came out hard as a rock. But that instance started the journey, with a lot of help from Joyofbaking.com.

Today, along with being a full time teacher and a mother of two teenagers, I am also a home baker. My expertise ranges from making Belgian chocolate-based and fruit-based desserts to a variety of entremets to specialised cakes.
