Running a small home-baking business teaches you much more than just baking… it teaches you patience, strength, and grace.
Today was honestly one of the hardest days for me. After putting hours of effort into a detailed custom cake, it got accidentally damaged at the last moment by my little nephew at home. It was completely unintentional — just one of those sudden, uncontrollable moments that can happen in a house full of kids. 💔
What made it tougher was that this order already had many concerns and complaints from the beginning, and in the end, the situation led to disappointment for the client. Even though it meant a complete loss for me, I chose to refund the full amount — because for me, peace, professionalism, and my work ethics matter more than any payment.
Being a home baker means you don’t just sell cakes — you carry emotions, expectations, and sometimes silent struggles that people never see.
But setbacks don’t stop passion. They make you stronger.
Tomorrow I will bake again, with the same love, the same honesty, and an even stronger heart. ✨
Thank you to everyone who understands and supports small businesses like mine — your kindness truly keeps us going. 🤍
