“This should not be difficult for me to achieve…”
A thought that came to my mind 3.5 years back and flexed my experimental brain and muscles (like I always do). The time was perfect as my elder daughter’s 7th Birthday was approaching. I decided to give her a surprise by baking a homemade simple cake. Soon, the idea started to build more and made a two-tiered cake with whipped cream. What came out as an output was a surprise to me rather. With no training and guidance, I managed out a sort of professional looking cake admired fully by the Platoon invited for the party.
This initial adventure and response gave me more confidence to bake more for my family. I started baking some Dry Walnut Cakes, Cupcakes, Marble Cakes, Choco-Chip Cakes, Tutty-Fruity cakes, Chocolate Fritter Lollipops, Dinner Buns, Garlic Bread and more. Choco Lava cake was a HIT 🎯 for me amongst all. I even tried baking normal bread at home… but then, every day is not as you expect it to go. So, decided to have it from the local market. :-)
As the time went by, the baker’s flame somewhat doused in me and my other life’s priority took over. But the fond memories were still alive. And this helped me to re-gain my passion for Cakes. As it says, when you compress something it bounces even higher. So, this time I took it couple of notches forward and decided to convert my hobby & passion into a business venture, “Delicacy… by Priyanka”.
