We made this with slow cooked blueberry compote, soft cream layers, fresh blueberries and a lot of restraint because it was very easy to go overboard with this one. 😭

We wanted it to feel fresh, light, and balanced instead of overly sweet — and I think we got it just right. 😋😋

This is definitely one of my favorite cakes we've made recently! 😍❤️
