Came for the berries, stayed for the baroque. ♥️

We created this stunning two kilo statement centrepiece cake for a vintage baroque-themed birthday dessert table with a moody palette of deep cocoa tones and delicious cherry red hues.

Kept it classic with the flavour - a 54% Belgian dark chocolate ganache cake layered with our house-made fresh raspberry compote, nestled between layers of our egg free moist dark chocolate sponge.

The beautiful mix of dark and whipped chocolate ganache played with different shades cocoa, while the fresh summer berries brought in the perfect pops of cherry red to complement all the movement and drama of the baroque piping.

Safe to say we’re obsessed with how this one turned out!
