If you’ve ever had homemade dessert, you know it brings a comfort that no factory-style cake shop can match. Every product we sell is freshly baked to order; there are no preservatives or trans fats. We pride ourselves in using only pure, premium ingredients – Callebaut chocolate couverture over compound chocolate, Madagascar vanilla instead of synthetic essence, butter over shortening, and so on.

None of our goods contain non-vegetarian ingredients (many bakeries will use gelatine and still put a green dot on the label, even though it is derived from animal bones). Only embryo-free eggs are used. We make vegan and gluten-free desserts/cakes on request. Apart from the usual suspects – brownies, bread puddings, etc – the menu revisits classics from around the world that are tough to find in Mumbai. These include sticky toffee pudding, German crumb cake and Rugelach. Want to impress your guests with some hot-from-the-oven goodness? Try our molten lava cakes in ceramic ramekins. They’re ready to bake and will leave you looking like a domestic god/dess. Have a craving for something that’s not on our menu? Give us a call, custom orders are our favourite! We’ll whip you up a cake/dessert with all the flavours you love.

Is there such a thing as too much chocolate? No, there is not.

Quintuple chocolate cookies with two types of cocoa, and Belgian milk, dark and bittersweet chocolate chips. Sprinkled with sea salt and vanilla seeds (please could we make vanilla salt a thing?).

When one of your favouritest clients has a birthday, you take her favouritest dessert and build a cake around it.

Loads of raspberry curd layered between dark chocolate fudge cake, and some chocolate whipped cream for good measure.

The thing about this particular cake – it has all the gooey richness of a regular fudge cake but the lightness of a genoise. So it's dense and fudgy in the first bite, but disappears in the second.

It's been a while since our last update, but this one warrants coming out of hibernation!

Chocolate almond cake with fresh cherries and plums, toasted almond, decadent dark chocolate frosting.

And guess what? It's all vegan! That's right, no eggs or dairy.

Presenting the Twixy Cake.

Our birthday girl said she loves the candybar Twix and would like a cake exactly like it. We baked her a yellow butter cake with chewy caramel and biscuit bits swirled through it, topped with a thick layer of chocolate caramel. Frosted with milk chocolate ganache and coated with chocolate.

And how could it not look like a giant candy bar!
