I had posted this reel after visiting kashmir last month. It was to show case the personal and beautiful experience we had during this trip. Many of you may know that I am a kashmir married to a Sikh. This morning out of the blue I received a call from someone named Prabhjot from Kashmir. He said something to the effect that this reel doesn’t align with the community standards of Kashmiri Sikhs and suggested that I take down this reel. I refused saying that his thoughts didn’t align with my standard of thinking. I explained to him that I do not believe in religion and I am not part of their community guidelines and that the reel will stay on my page. I told this to my husband and we briefly discussed and brushed this aside. But he did say to save the number just in case. And something kept bothering me about this call and I knew this will not end here. A little while ago I started recovering continuous blank calls from a ‘No called ID’ and I am unable to block this number. When I didn’t answer these calls, I have got about 36 sms from random number with OTP’s. It doesn’t stop here, there are about 100 comments under the original reel , but obvious they are all negative comments from fake ID’s complaining about my so called ‘restaurant’ or ‘service’. The world we live in will not let us lie in peace. They will poke you, probe you, pressurise you, try to break you and destroy you.. and for what? For not aligning with their narrow mindedness, their beliefs, their community standards?
