This recipe book has been part of our kitchen for over four decades.

Handwritten by our founder, Chef Alpa Pereira, it’s filled with recipes, handwritten notes, tweaks and little reminders collected over years of baking.

Some recipes have evolved with time. Others have stayed almost exactly the same.

Our Chocolate Truffle Cake or Gateau Chocolate as we call it, is one of them.

A reminder that some classics don’t need reinventing, they simply become part of people’s lives.
