We met with the same goal, we talked as if we knew each other for years ,we took care of each other as if we were meant to , we all wanted each other to reach the summit amidst challenges ...there was so much of love as if this was the love we had for each other which was long pending from our last birth.
Waking up at midnight, starting your summit trek at 2 am in a cold climate with only steep ascends and hands getting numb in first one hour of trek , and legs not co-operating with you in two hours , with thigh and calf muscles becoming stiff, with chants of Har Har Mahadev with a bunch of absolute crazy people( my trek mates) all I wanted was to complete the trek.
..all I wanted was to reach Tungnath and then Chandrashila where my trek buddies were waiting for the final pic.
Baking and Nimmy ,that was relatable.But trekking and Nimmy , not even in my wildest dreams ( also Mr.Prem's dreams)
Well, it all started with a small hike near Bangalore with my sister's friend Karthik bhaiya and then in 2023 Oct, I did my first high altitude trek Dayara Bugyal with India hikes .
What started as a tribute to my BUDDY who loved forests and who was posted as Forest Range officer ,Attappadi healed me and transformed me in ways which only she can understand.
Thankful to our trek leader and our team captain Hari .citizen and vijay bhai who guided us and also for being kind.
Grateful to have found the bear in the jungle Vivian bunny
Happy to have met Pris ,nilina , Purbali , Nikunj ,leesh Armaan , Tejas and the bhaiya who joined us on the summit day
I am thankful to the India hikes team who are family far away from home, who prioritize safety over adventure and also for the amazing food ( especially gulab jamuns)
Heartfelt thanks to my partners in crime my honeybunch and my sparrow and people who prayed for my safety..... also my staff kalai who took care of my cakery when I was far away.
