ਸਰਦਾਰ ਇੰਦਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੂਨੀਆ ਜੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਜੰਗਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟ ਕੇ ਉੱਚੀਆਂ-ਉੱਚੀਆਂ ਇਮਾਰਤਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਖੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਕਰ ਲਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਜੰਗਲਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਕੂਨ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਦਾ।
ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਵੀ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਵੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਮੇਹਰ ਅਤੇ ਨੇਮਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਵਾਜੇਗੀ।
Sardar Inderjit Singh Punia Ji reminds us that while we continue to replace forests with concrete buildings, the peace and serenity found in nature can never be recreated within walls.
Speaking about the importance of trees, he also shared his deep love for nature. His message is simple yet powerful: if we love and care for nature, nature will always love and care for us in return.
