In Frame - Caramelate

You love Caramel? You love Chocolate?
Why not have the best of both worlds, punched in every bite?
And if you're a fan of the unique, then Piecetrinum is definitely your stop.

We were playing around with flavours, and this blend made it to the final cut.

• Super soft chocolate sponge.
• Rich homemade salted-caramel sauce.
• Smooth caramel buttercream frosting sandwiched in between layers. A thick coat of the same applied as the first layer of outer skin.
• Smooth-silky ganache made out of molten premium couverture chocolate, to finish things off.

Probably, the softest and smoothest cake we have made till date, with a super outburst of flavours from the get go. Even though the contrast of flavours are stacked together, you can still isolate the chocolate from the caramel parts, and none of them overpower the other, and then take it with a few grains of salt (no puns intended. None at all. Really).

Because sometimes we like to take things that already exist, and then make those our own. This was certainly one of those instances.

In frame - The Not-So-Black Forest

Something that is extremely popular, loved by many, has a simple enough recipe too.
While most Black Forest cakes available in the contemporary market, are not made in the 'traditional/authentic ' way....we too decided to keep our own exclusive touch.
For our version we decided to give it a facelift, and tweak the recipe, only a little here and there, to make it more chocolatey and rich.

• Super soft chocolate sponge.
• Dark chocolate ganache within layers.
• Finely chopped karonda cherries.
• Smooth velvety texture of vanilla buttercream frosting.
• More shredded dark chocolate, and whole cherries to finish things off.

The first marriage-anniversary order since our inception.
Whether the cake was trying to 'stand' tall, or develop 'wings' to fly away......we have no idea.
Three layers of very dark chocolate sponge, sandwiching thick layers of buttercream frosting and rich chocolate ganache.
Covered with a thick coating of super smooth vanilla buttercream frosting, with an arching origami design on the roof.... a perfect fusion of chocolate and vanilla.....

The last of winter is already here, though it seems " the chills of Middle-Earth" are eternal.

The patron wanted a Lord Of The Rings design on the roof, and thats exactly what he got.
Furthermore, we took the freedom to send the Fellowship once more, through the mountainous ravines of butterscotch 'frosting'.
As per request, the outer layer or frosting, as aforementioned, consists of butterscotch flavouring, while the inside or the sponge is vanilla, loaded with toasted organic peanuts sandwiched within the layers.

Most of you might already be familiar with this one, if you're not, then we have got your back.
Christmas is unthinkable without a quality Dundee cake, hence we couldn't stop ourselves from adding this one to our Dry Cakeloaf series. It was inevitable.

In frame - Scottish Dundee cake.

• Almond flour.
• Hint of Rum and orange zest.
• Fresh orange juice and orange marmalade.
• Black raisins and sultanas soaked in rum overnight.
• More rum-soaked almonds added on for garnishing.
• The aroma that fills up the room, after its done....it already feels like Christmas over here.

One can't complain when there is so much of goodness coming out of a singular thing. Of course , we can't.
We are more than happy with the results that we produced with our take on the very popular Scottish Dundee cake, and we can't wait to share this baby with you fine people.

Winter is already here, and as Christmas is dawning near too, we decided to enhance the roster for our Dry Cake series.

In frame - Blueberry Marble cake

This one is not just a treat for your tongue, but for your eyes too, quite literally.
The usual super softness of sponge, made of two different batters - creamy vanilla and silky blueberry, poured alternately. That topped off with a few dried blueberries, and that gorgeous marbelling effect of white and purple, just perfect!
And we wish , you could experience the aroma of this one, the moment it comes out of the oven. Unfortunately we can't help you with that over here.

Tried our hands on something utterly random and nonsensical. If you're trying to figure out the meaning behind this one, then look no further, cause there is none.
The patron wanted a lot of choco chips, and a different shape.
And we thought a little bit of Pinterest surfing for inspiration doesn't hurt, right?!

In frame - Van-Choc Abstract

Just a cake, made to stand on its edge, added a coral tuile, a few cake pops made with the chopped off edges of the sponge itself, a few chocolate blocks, topped of with a handful of chocolate chips.
Four layers of Vanilla sponge, intertwined with three layers of dark chocolate frosting, loaded with more chocolate chips.
And net result is what you see.
