Had an amazing privilege of addressing a vibrant gathering of Inner Wheel club of Kochi.

A fruitful and productive interactive session on healthy food, importance of imbibing clean eating culture in the younger generation, millet revelution and the importance of millets in the daily diet and a little bit about the values we follow at Eva‘s Healthy Bakes. An hour well spent at the event 😊😊

Our breads gets delivered to homes of several celebrities every week, including prominent film stars, politicians, directors .. but I have always shied away from requesting testimonials. Presenting “Junior Gastronomes”, an exclusive culinary workshop from Eva’s Health Bakes, Kochi.
This workshop is aimed at teaching children about the principles of good cooking, exposing them to healthier and interesting ingredients and flavors, and encouraging them to experiment with their own cooking and food-related projects and presenting them well.

Women who grow food..

During my visits to the northern parts of India for sourcing, I met so many women who work tirelessly throughout the day in the fields, along with taking care of their homes, elders and children..

All of them had 2 things in common, faded clothes but bright & warm smiles 🙂🙂

We sat together, had some good conversation in the limited Hindi I knew, they served me their local wood fired dense roti and spicy achaar along with home made curd, also took me to the sugar cane field and taught me how to pick the ripe one when i told them how it's been my favorite right from my childhood.

Their lives are as raw as the food they grow.. and hearts as large as the field they work on..

I am grateful for the time i got to spend with them.. and looking forward to the next harvest season to relish that warmth and hospitality once again..

Priceless!
