Our desire is to create the perfect combinations of flavours and spread the joy of ultimate satisfaction. Our goal is to strike a chord in one's soul with just the first bite. When we see that satisfied smile on our client's face as they indulge in goodness, we know we have done our job well.

Hello fam!
It’s been a year since I last posted anything on this page… I’ve missed this. Missed my mornings starting with the silent hum of my ovens, that sweet smell of warm cake, chocolate stained mittens and greeting my team with “what are the orders for today?”
My year off has been so kind. I’m grateful for so many things I can’t begin to list. I’ve travelled, relaxed, hit the gym and most excitedly watched my daughter grow.
The most overwhelming moments were when people never let me forget how special The Matter of Batter had been.
I’d love to start accepting orders soon. Haven’t figured out how and what yet, but it would help if you’d leave your requests on this post. Of course I’d be limited in my production as I don’t have the space anymore and would be working out of my home.
I’d love to know what you like and miss the most from The Matter of Batter ❤️
The month of Ramadan had always been kind.

Ramadan gifts for the family!
Made these gorgeous orange blossom and fresh berries cakes today. Baked out of my home kitchen after nearly a decade. Although it came with its own challenges, I think they turned out great!
Baked a fresh victoria sponge flavoured with orange zest and lime. Topped it with layer of smooth white chocolate mousse and spooned over some blueberry and orange compote.
Stewed kinnow slices for garnish along with some fresh strawberry wedges.
I’m so used to tasting my batters and creams and compotes as I go, but I’m fasting so it’s a bit daunting that I don’t know what this tastes like put together.
Hope they taste as good as they looked. So many little challenges baking from my home kitchen while regular food and iftar was also being prepared. My cook wasn’t too happy sharing her space 😅

We would love to host a bake sale for all our loyal customers, followers and especially for those who haven’t yet had a TMOB indulgence moment!
The bake sale will have all of our bestsellers of all these years.
DATES : 26th, 27th and 28th February

We will be operational for regular orders this whole month. 28th of February, 2025 will be our last working day, so show us some love this month ❤️
