GLUTEN FREE CHOCOLATE BABKA
Babka is a sweet braided bread which originated in the Jewish communities of Poland(often referred to as simply a yeast cake.
Made with All Purpose flour,eggs,butter and sugar,this is a rich, laminated dough which might have chocolate as a filling.
It's been on my mind since long to convert regular confectionery into Gluten free versions so that people on a special diet can also enjoy without compromising on health or taste.
This Gluten free Babka was one such accomplishment for me as cakes,muffins and cookies are still within my comfort zone but trying to convert the complexities of normal AP flour with gluten into a millet based product was daunting in many ways.
In the pics, was the first try, yesterday, with millet flour,eggs, coconut sugar,butter & eggs.
Many more are going to be done before am open to orders to also get a vegan version of the same😊
