Rani ma was not just an elder we respected, but a motherly presence whose blessings quietly surrounded us. Our families have shared a close bond across generations, and she shared a lifelong bond of friendship with my mother from their school days. Listening to their memories and those lovely old stories, so lovingly exchanged over lunches and high tea, was always a cherished part of our time together. I will miss hearing her stories about my mother and their school days — stories she loved to share, especially over lunch or high tea…She spoke with warmth, dignity, and grace , and we would talk for long moments that felt simple yet meaningful. Spending time with her felt comforting and yet familiar…. With her absence, we feel the loss of a motherly presence… and with it, the quiet strength, guidance, and blessings that only elders bestow…. there is a real sense of loss — her place in our hearts and family will always remain…
