A Ruby Anniversary Cake with a twist. Absolutely thrilled when Shweta contacted me for a milestone celebration for her parents. Figures hand crafted to resemble pics shared by Shweta of her parents. Design specifications included her parents sitting on a park bench with a selfie stick and mobile phones in their hands 😊

The Cherry Blossom Tree (all hand crafted with each individual flower) completed the Ruby theme and brought about a very lovely feel to the entire setup.

Thank you once again Shweta for your lovely feedback, I loved working on it 💕

Tea cakes reach a new level with their beautiful cracks and rustic feel complimented with minimal fondant and wafer paper decoration.

November is a month of continuous celebrations at my place with anniversaries and birthdays almost back to back.

So I wanted to cut back on the icing for our anniversary cake this year and wanted a healthier option too. This gorgeous cake was baked my mother in law and somehow this cake has a symbolic significance for marriage in general as well...

Symbolising our blessed 18 years through our very special cake 😊 Sharing some reflections here:

The way ingredients come together to bake a delicious cake is reflective of the coming together of two families to form a union of two souls. The baking done by one side of the family, the decorations sent by the other.

The cracks and uneven textures lend a beautiful rustic charm to the cake and are reflective of the highs and lows that every marriage goes through.

The cake gets eaten faster when it is not frosted or sugar coated, same holds true for a marriage, life goes smoothly when it is true and honest without the frills and fancies

The beautiful flowers are the result of years of toiling and nurturing, but they are still fragile - reflective of our children and the many relationships that we form along the way.

Cutting the cake and distributing it allows you to taste the sweetness within - reflective of caring and spreading the compassion and sweetness with all whom you meet. 😊

The little bit of decoration - to remind one that sometimes things need a little bit of finesse and sugar coating to really stand out 😊

So excited to share my latest version of an Island Cake! Got some of the most fascinating reactions with this one!

Sea shells turned out pretty good when my son asked if I washed them before putting them on the cake 😄😄

Agar agar sea green lemon flavored jelly for the water paired very well with the Salted Caramel & Chocolate cake. The crunchy caramel bits and the sandy biscuit crumbs in the cake gave another dimension to the sea bed 😊

Made it for my younger son, very pleased with the outcome, hope you all like it too.

Excited to share this one with you all. The trending Cake Top Forward Cake created for a wonderful and considerate person.

She contacted me almost a month in advance to book her birthday cake with a free reign on the design. When someone trusts you explicitly you want to think outside the box and create something equally exceptional for them. Presenting her my first Cake Top Forward Cake with her favourite Calla Lilies.
