Plum cake....... an ongoing process.
Christmas is behind us now. After a marathon month of baking a few hundred cakes, with a a spill over into the New Year, it was time to hang up my baking gloves and stack away my tins for the next season. But it doesn't stop there. It's now time to prep for Christmas 2024 !!! Once again, back to cleaning, drying, chopping and soaking friut in a whole lot of rum, for the next season.
I also like to have a ready stock of soaked fruit for special orders during the year like weddings, christenings. special anniversaries.
Once again I'd like to thank my loyal clients for their continued support. And thanks to them, my cakes have done a lot of globe trotting - having been taken to the US, UK, Australia, Singapore, Dubai, Muskat.
It's your enthusiasm and appreciation, that I am ever grateful for. Thank you so much.
