It feels great to be back in Gurgaon. Our ten-month hiatus was unexpected, however, it gave us a lot to think and reflect. We have received so much love from this city that not being back would be an act of ingratitude. Fig is from Gurgaon, and so am I. There is a great connection with an audience that understands our idea of food from the early meal planning days. Ever since we shut our operations, we have been actively working to be back.
At Fig, our constant pursuit is to offer a high-quality dining experience and restore trust in eating out. We regularly review the culinary landscape to ensure we remain relevant.
Fig at MG, a.k.a “little fig” is a manifestation of food that can be ingredient-forward, while celebrating flavours that are bold and clean. The same focus on ingredients with a lot more commitment to make it joyous for our diners. Fig at MG is a revival of zest and thrill in running cafes for us. Our food remains clean, functional, and safe. Expect the same comfort from specialty coffee and wholesome breakfast. For the first time we are introducing morning pastries and homemade gelatos, baked and churned fresh by our talented team at the bakehouse.
The design of the space pushes our idea of real food with real ingredients a little further. Like all of our other spaces, Fig at MG is made from natural and sustainable materials. Thanks to and , we have a space that is transparent, intimate, and exudes energy. The deliberate use of the color red symbolizes resurgence and life – we were always meant to return!
Music is an artform that continues to inspire us, adding to the dining experience. Our recent investments into professional audio with our friends at highlights our commitment to make dining spaces a place to comfort your senses and get inspired. Expect nights full of curated music paired with great food.
Last but not least, I am grateful to the people of fig. The talent and grit that you apply on a daily basis makes it very easy for me to do my job. I want the world to know that I stand on the shoulders of the best people I could have asked to share work with.
Welcome back to Fig!
Love, Manish
