Lord Ram’s victory over Ravan is a fascinating mix of statecraft and righteousnes.

Staging Sugreev’s coup over Bali, assembling the Vanar Sena, winning over Vibhishan from the enemy camp shows how you can use statecraft and still be Maryada Purushottam (righteous) cause the intent was for the larger good.
Even in contemporary times, a lot of self-styled righteous people are mute spectators when evil runs havoc, as they do not believe in fighting fire with fire. Truth is that if the enemy is evil, you can’t give up and its okay to bend the rules but you have to fight back.
Inaction is evil.
We hail Lord Ram for treading a tight rope with excellence. Dussehra is a celebration of the will to fight for the good!

Mahatma Gandhi - The brand that continues to dominate dinner-table conversations and political discussions even today and will do so forever.

The 3 qualities, I personally admire about Gandhiji :

1. The art of mobilising masses : The man had such captivating charisma that he could stir a movement and channelise people's emotion in the channel, he wanted. A trait modern marketers, entrepreneurs and artistes would die to have.

2. Lead by example : He always believed that one must change themselves and then expect others to do the same. A lot of leaders expect miracles from their teams when they themselves do not put in the hard yards.

3. Focussed on the message : Mahatma Gandhi's messaging on freedom, truth & non-violence was razor sharp and had tunnel-visioned focus. A lot of students, brands, young entrepreneurs are lucky to eventually find their true calling or true target audience but they do not double down and focus on it! Gandhiji went full hog and it paid rich dividends.
