Kloche Cakery is a new bakery with a focus on serving the finest cookies , viennoisserie and other baked goods to its customers.

With a changing menu and an innovative spin on the classics, we want to bring exciting confections to our patrons.

Some of you have heard us going on about this. It’s finally happening.

A small tasting this Sunday, before any of it goes on the menu — the new savoury things, a few new desserts, and Joeys Coffee & co. for the very first time. Come taste, mingle, and tell us what stays.

We’ve been trying to make something that tastes the way June feels in Delhi — when you want cold and sweet but also something with a little edge to it.

The Tropical Log is where we landed. Layers of mango mousse and vanilla sponge, a mango-passionfruit gelée for the tang, caramelised pineapples folded through for warmth and bite, finished with cream cheese vanilla mousse piped gently on top.
It’s the kind of thing that disappears from the counter quietly. We’d suggest not waiting too long.

Back for its second summer, and still the one we get asked about most.

The Mango Bliss Bento — a trifle-style cake we built around Ratnagiri Alphonso, not the other way around. Vanilla sponge, cream-cheese mousse, fresh mango purée, and thick cubes of the fruit tucked into every layer. We tried more complex versions in the kitchen last year. Kept coming back to this one — the version where the mango is the loudest thing in the room.

Small enough to share between two people and a quiet afternoon. Available through July, then we wait for next season like everyone else.

Golden Carrot Cake

We grate the carrots by hand. Slowly, until the batter turns a warm amber. The spicing is gentle, kept deliberately quiet — we wanted the carrot itself to lead. Its natural sweetness, its earthiness, front and centre.

Golden raisins are folded through. Roasted pecans, for a crunch you don’t expect until the second bite. The bundt bakes low, takes its time, and comes out tender through the middle.

Then a cream-cheese glaze — tangy and generous — pooled over the top and left to settle into every ridge.

No eggs. Just care, method, and a recipe we tested more times than we’ll admit.

Every brownie in this box started the same way — butter, chocolate, a warm bowl, our hands. The batter folded slowly until it turned silken and deep. Then each one took its own path.

The Richie Rich stayed simple. Fudgy centre, crackling top, 54.5% chocolate chips folded through — not to sweeten, but to sharpen. The brownie that anchors the kitchen.

The Brookie is a marriage — our brownie baked under a layer of chocolate chip cookie dough. Fudgy below, crisp-edged above.

The Black Forest Swirl began as a Richie Rich. Then we ribboned sour cherry jam through the batter and baked cream cheese into the top. Tender and tart where the original is dark and direct.

The Mocha was the last to arrive. Coffee ganache and caramel latte mousse, threaded carefully through a fudgy base. Coffee and chocolate, in equal measure — neither one leading.

The Solos started as a quiet idea from the kitchen — a way for you to find your favourite before committing to the full.

This box holds four: Birthday Cake, Good ol’ Chocolate, Milk Chocolate Hazelnut and Dark Berry. Each a smaller version of a full celebration cake — same layers, same crémeux, same care.
