I love to make cakes with spices.....the balance of flavours and aroma that they bring out is simply amazing....who knew humble pumpkin can enhance the taste of these spices and bring them together to become pumpkin bread...this one is spl for pre- halloween...as we celebrate Dusherra the western folks are preparing for Halloween....my attempt to mix both the world.

What would u like it with tea or coffee..

This is one food item that bring a lot of fond memories from my childhood. Growing up in the hills we had a famous bakery Glenarys...I use to go there with my grandfather every weekend and he would make me select what I wanted. From a large variety of sweet and savoury items I mostly ended up choosing cream rolls...and only from that shop...it had the perfact balance of sweetness and crunch from the rolls. Over the years the quality has detoriated and now they use simple wipped cream to fill....

Though it looks simple I realised that it takes alot of hard work...starts with making the puff pastry correctly.

And I don't like the simple wipped cream filling so I make the custard filling from the scratch.

If you love Chocolate then this is the cake to go for...it's gooey and sinful but it will satisfy your craving. Chocolat...
