Countering your lockdown blues with a basic foolproof pizza dough!
It's so easy to make and comes together in no time.
This recipe involves a few basic ingredients and it gives you such a versatile dough for not just pizza, but garlic bread, pizza pockets, pizza bites, garlic knots, pizza muffins, stuffed pizza loaves and whatnot! The options are endless.
Recipe:
Makes two 10 inch pan pizzas
๐ 2 cups all purpose flour
๐ 3/4 cup warm water
๐ 1 1/2 tsp sugar
๐ 2 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
๐ 1 1/2 tsp gluten
๐ Garlic powder to taste
๐ 2 tbsp olive oil
Proof the yeast and add it to your dry ingredients. Knead it into a soft tacky dough. Cover in olive oil and let it rest for an hour or until double on size. Deflate your dough before forming your pizza base.
