🍗 Tawa Chicken (Boneless, Spicy & Juicy)
✔️ High in protein from lean boneless chicken breast
🧂 Ingredients for marination:
500g boneless chicken, cut into small pieces
1 tsp lemon juice
½ cup curd (yogurt)
1 tsp cumin (jeera) powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp tandoori masala (optional but recommended)
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp salt (or to taste)
1 tbsp olive oil (or any cooking oil)
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves (dhaniya patta)
For cooking:
1–2 tbsp oil (for frying – use olive oil or regular cooking oil)
🍴 Instructions:
✅ Step 1: Marinate the Chicken
1. In a large bowl, mix:
Chicken pieces
Lemon juice
Curd
Jeera powder
Garam masala
Tandoori masala
Salt
Ginger garlic paste
Olive oil
Chopped coriander leaves
2. Mix everything well so the chicken is nicely coated.
3. Cover and marinate for at least 1 hour (or up to overnight for better flavor).
🔥 Step 2: Cook on Tawa (Flat Pan)
1. Heat 1–2 tbsp oil on a tawa or nonstick pan on high flame.
2. Place marinated chicken pieces in a single layer on the pan.
3. Sear the chicken on high flame for 4–5 minutes to get a nice charred edge.
4. Then reduce heat to low-medium flame.
5. Cover (optional) and cook for 5–8 minutes until one side becomes dark brown and cooked.
6. Flip the pieces and cook the other side until browned and fully done.
7. You’ll know it’s ready when the chicken is soft, juicy, and dry.
🍽️ Serve Hot
Garnish with fresh coriander and serve with:
Green chutney
Onion rings
Lemon wedges
Or wrap in roti for a tawa chicken roll!
