Our Story
My name is Sowmya Bhat. I worked in an IT firm for 4 years and now a Home maker, a Home-Baker and a mom to a 4 year old darling daughter. Cooking & Baking has been my passion since my school days, as I saw my mother preparing extraordinary delicacies at home. Her passion to serve the best food to our family motivated me to follow her in everything she made. How I wish we could click pictures of her delicacies, her first tries of a recipe and posting it on social media then in the 90s. I feel lucky to be experiencing this era, where everything is digital and clicking a picture and posting it needs just few seconds.
So, here’s my page to portray my stepping stones in the world of baking and cake decor/art. Every post of mine here has had enormous learning for me, as I’m a self-learnt baker.
A big thank you to all the lovely people who placed their cake orders with me, trusting me and my abilities. From my very first cake order, to now, I feel much more confident to create more challenging designs.
Leaving the design part aside, each baked cake has got me improved with its taste and textures to perfection and now, I feel I’m all set to go ahead with bigger challenges my way!
