Hello lovely people! It’s been 6 months of blood, sweat and absolute unprecedented turmoil since we started .blr . We have been able to settle the things down a bit, and are now in a position to focus on our og baby. That’s why we are so excited to let you know that we are slowly but surely opening up for limited orders to begin with. We are also in the process of adding a few unique desserts and drinks to our assortment. We believe that you’d still show us the love that you have always done. Looking forward to delivering our desserts to you again.

Baba au rhum or rum baba as the Italians like to call it, is one of our favourite cakes right now. It’s eaten with every slice dipped in a syrup. The syrup has orange and lemon rind and juice along with the old faithful, rum. The cake is absolutely light and fluffy. It’s like you aren’t eating anything at all. Ssshhh, we don’t count calories in here! :D

Christmas, for us, has always been about focusing on the ‘sweetness’ in life. And these desserts will hit that sweet spot, especially now when we don’t want to go to all those brunches.
In order of swiping, yule log is amalgamation of three different types of chocolate with an option of rum; babka is a chocolate filled yeast cake again with an option of rum; bienenstich is a honey and almond topped and creme patisserie layered cake; kladdkaka is a brownie cake with a whole lot of chocolate in it and tastes best when warm; panforte is a ‘spicy’ cake with cinnamon, ginger, pepper, chilli and tastes a bit like the mulled wine!
