Tried piping flowers with fresh cream. Honestly, wasn't easy.
Learning to stabilize fresh cream properly is definitely on my to-do.
But the taste, divine. Nothing to beat a fresh cream fruit cake.

When you're so pressed for time, you get everyone to help. This was one such instance for my daughter's 9th birthday celebrations, and she wanted only donuts. Now, as a baker, you can't do 'Just' donuts. So you bring everyone on board and finish decorating in 5 min 🙂. Voila.. not too bad, right?

My first trial with rice paper flowers.
I've always been inspired by and the innovative ways in which she uses rice paper, wafer paper and so much more.
While the flower is much more loud that I would've liked, I love how it turned out and how simple it was to make... so more of this to come 😊

This special cake was made for for their grand opening in collaboration with the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce.
Thanks to a simple and safe technique to use fresh flowers on cakes by and an amazing mango curd recipe by .frostings, it ended up being a cake I thoroughly enjoyed making ❤️
