I seem to have made a deal with the devil! ☺ This devil’s food cake is turning out to be a real crowd-puller! I made this with strawberries insides and whipped cream frosting for a dear friend’s anniversary. She was reminded the day before by her son that it was her anniversary and so she placed a last minute order. From start to finish, it was done in 4 hours and I believe polished off equally quickly!!!

It’s always great to have repeat clients. It’s even better when their friends take down my number and message me to tell me how much they enjoyed the cake! I’m so so thrilled!
The last time I baked for this birthday boy, I made a lookalike topper and he was absolutely floored. His friends wanted to top that this year! They asked for a fondant-less cake, except for a small fish topper. This is a devil’s food cake with whipped cream frosting. Needless to say, the birthday boy and his friends were hooked, line and sinker, by the cake! ;)

You can’t go wrong with this classic vanilla cake! I packed it with the goodness of blueberry filling for a sweet couple celebrating their wedding anniversary.

You know something is sinfully delicious when it’s called a devil’s food cake. The frosting was as decadent as the cake - chocalate buttercream, which melted magically in the mouth.
Almost telepathically, I decided to go with a mermaid theme for the toppers, which happened to be just what the birthday girl wanted. So pleased to be able to make a dear little girl so happy!

My client wanted to surprise her husband on his birthday with this cake. Both of them are young and rather fun, and I thought an orange cake with real fruit in it and white chocolate frosting would be the perfect mix of sweet and zesty for this couple. The cake features the husband, of course, and their two gorgeous Scottish fold cats. The feedback I got? – It was purrrrfect! ;-)
