Made this fairy themed cake for the first birthday of a little princess. The little girls on the swing and the fairy on mushroom are completely handmade. The transparent wings are edible too.

Happy Gowri and Ganesha festival!

I got a wonderful opportunity to meet  Radio Mirchi RJ Guru recently and teach him how to make clay Ganesha idol.  I am part of ( HSR Citizens Forum) and have been teaching making of clay Ganesha idols for the past 8 years at various workshops conducted by them. HCF is an NGO filled with enthusiastic Eco warriors who are relentlessly work in solid waste management and sustainable living. I was pleasantly surprised when I got a call from Radio Mirchi asking if I could teach to promote Eco friendly clay Ganesha….. When I heard that I thought…. It was a great way to motivate people to switch to clay Ganesha. RJ Guru and their team came to my studio and recorded RJ Guru’s clay Ganesha making process. It was really nice meeting Guru and the team. Thank you and team for taking up this initiative and promoting clay Ganesha. Through your show, I hope more and more people get inspired to make clay Ganesh idols and contribute in a small way to help our Mother Nature

It’s been very long since I posted….. Today, I finally managed to get rid of my procrastination monkey and posted …. (plan to do so everyday…. )

This was a 16th birthday cake for my friend’s daughter who loved books and plans to build a library with her earnings. She is someone who I love for her innocence and sweet voice. I was thrilled the way it turned out….. I was able to capture a bit of her in this figurine…. Hope I made a bit of justice….
