After a lot of research, understanding the market & consumer requirements, he came up with the idea of giving the city, its first & completely vegetarian bakery. Thus, post his course at Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri, he started the operations of Jai Jalaram Food Products from Bengal Chowki. All of it was done with the support & under the able guidance of Mr. Dinesh Thakker, owner of the prominent Thakker Bakers, Vile Parle. Jai Jalaram Food Products (JJFP), started off as a bakery products manufacturers, producing Khari, Vegetable Pattice & a few types of cookies. As they say, true quality can’t be hidden for long, the quality & precise taste of our products started appealing to people and the word of mouth made it a household name. Within 3 years, JJFP opened up a second outlet at Kedgaon, Nagar-Pune Road. The sole pillar of the stupendous success that we have achieved rests on these words in Marathi “Shudhta ani Paushtikta hech aamche vaishishta” which translates to “Purity & Nutrition is the only expertise we hold”.
