Here at The Bushy Tailed Baker we offer home-baked treats and cakes for your pets. We only use human grade, natural ingredients because your pets deserve the best. We specialise in cakes and cúkies (cú is the Irish word for hound) for dogs but will make nutritionally appropriate cakes or treats for any pet. Just get in touch and ask. I started The Bushy Tailed Baker with my Alaskan Malamute, Hudso

n. (Hudson passed away in 2018 and he is now stealing all the cakes in doggie heaven). Hudson had a very discerning palate and approved all our cakes and treats himself. I also taste all our products to ensure that the quality and flavour is perfect for your pet and I don't put anything into our products that I wouldn't eat myself. My interest in baking for pets started when I began to research alternative treats for Hudson. There are so many healthy and nutritious things that we can feed our dogs outside of what can be bought in supermarkets that we never even think to give them. These are the things I put in my cakes. I have recently completed a diploma in Canine Nutrition and a Certificate in Holistic Health for Dogs. I have also studied Animal Welfare and Canine Training and Behaviour. The Bushy Tailed Baker is based in Waterford, Ireland

Winners can order their cakes and get their cookies as soon as this lockdown lifts and we are all free to move further then 2km from our houses.

**COMPETITION TIME**

These are crazy times that we are living in and who knows when things will get back to 'normal', and what that will look like. So I thought I'd run a little competition to keep my spirits up and to give people something to look forward to when all this is over. The winner will get either a bone-shaped cake or 6 cupcakes, and 2 runners up will get 4 cupcakes (on a day of their choice after the lockdown is over)
To enter all you have to do is like and share this post and comment below with pictures of what your dogs are up to during lockdown.
I'll choose a winner next weekend.
(Winner must live in the Waterford area, so that I can deliver their prizes to them)
