Blaa

The blaa is a white yeast bread roll unique to Waterford city and introduced by the Huguenots back in the early 17th century.

Steeped in history, the Blaa has been traced back to the time of the Huguenots who introduced the Blaa back in the 17th century.Today, the blaa is produced in Waterford city by M & D Bakers who have been producing the much loved blaa for over 24 years. The blaa is enjoyed as a morning snack or a lunch time filler
