I discovered my love of baking through my Grandmother, Patty Grace, at a young age and spent many years simply keeping her, and my own, delicious recipes to myself. Having attained an BaTH Honours Degree in English and Theology at N.U.I Maynooth in 2007, I decided to put my learning (and my parents well spent money) to good use and create my own type of religion with the combined dieties of Sugar
and Chocolate. With my recipe book bible in hand, l began as Gracies' Buns in a very small community run market in Waterford City (after a small push from a friend that is) and I have, ever since, been going from strength to strength. What sets Gracies' Buns & Cakes apart is that each bun is flavoured with the best ingredience....so the Chocolate Orange Buns actually contain real oranges!!! In June 2011, I attained my Masters in Sugarpaste Sugarcraft and began making my first cakes. In the last 10 years Gracies' Buns & Cakes has gained many a loyal customer through online orders via facebook and of word of mouth. Well its simple, all Gracies Buns and cakes are flavoured cakes....none of this flavoured icing nonsense, for instance, Gracies Chocolate Orange buns are made with chocolate and real oranges and covered in a delicious chocolate buttercream icing...irresistable!!! To top it all all the delicious bun flavours you love can be used for your wedding, christening, birthday....or whatever kinda cake you need!!! All cakes at Gracies' Buns are made to order, can be of any flavour, and any design. Novelty cakes are a speciality. Send me an enquiry and I will work with you to create the cake you desire for your special occasion. Of course, I also do cakes that you can simply buy to enjoy with a good cup of tea. All orders are only held with a deposit paid. Deposits are not refundable. Full payment on delivery.
