After that, price depends on the size of the cake and the level of decoration required. Each of my cakes is handmade from scratch usin
g only quality ingredients. I put as much time and effort into ensuring the cakes taste as good as they look, as I do in decorating my cakes. Each cake is then iced and all decorations made by hand (unless notified in advance in special circumstances). Everything is edible unless I notify you! My cakes can be made in:

My party cake servings are based on the standard ‘Party size’ portion which is 1.5”x2”x approx. 4” (the height of the cake). This is slightly larger than the standard ‘wedding size’ portions so there will be plenty of cake per person. If however, you are serving your cake as a desert and want a larger portion per person, you will need to order a larger cake. Below is an approximate idea of the servings per cake size for a standard party cake. (As wedding cake portions are smaller than party cake portions, you will get more portions from a wedding cake. Please contact me for any wedding cake enquiries).
6" round cake - 12 servings approx
8" round cake - 20-25
10" round cake - 25-30
12" round cake - 40-45
7" square cake - 15-20
9" square cake - 25-30
Ideally, I need 7 days notice to have a cake ready for the date required. However the earlier you contact me for a booking the better chance of confirming the date you require! If an order is to be cancelled, I would need at least 7 days notice due to the preparation work involved in having a cake ready and because I can only facilitate a small number of cakes per day/weekend, I regularly have to turn down orders - please bear this in mind if you change your mind! A non refundable deposit is required for all cake orders. No cake booking can be confirmed until a deposit has been paid. Deposits can be made in person to my home in Swords or by paypal by clicking on the 'pay a deposit' tab on this page. The balance of payment is payable in cash on collection of your cake. Cakes can be collected at a day & time to suit you once prior arrangements have been made.
