😂🫠 I wanted to show you just how much time and love goes into making a custom cake behind the scenes.I completely forgot to press record on the final coat and the piping (filming myself is not my usual routine! 😂), but here is a little taste of the process. To give you an idea of the effort... the pearl placement alone took me 1 hour and 45 minutes! 💎From baking the layers, making the fillings, crumb coating, and detailing, it is a true labor of love. Watch till the end to see the final 8-inch Red Velvet & White Chocolate Buttercream beauty! ✨

My daughters 11th birthday cake 🎂 her first request was a heart ❤️ shaped red velvet heart shape the sponges turned out great and the crumb coat but the finish coat just kept loosing its shape so need more practice too see where I’m going wrong 😭and I was far too busy too tired too worry about it any longer

So we ended up with two cakes 😂😂

cake pictured is vanilla with strawberry 🍓

She was so happy with it and that’s all that matters 💖
