New look, same sourdough minis 👀

We’ve updated our mini pizza packaging to make it easier to store in your fridge and freezer.

Our mini bases are perfect for quick lunches, easy dinners and pizza nights at home.

This weekend, we’re pairing ours with Gubbeen chorizo, Knockanore cheddar, and Rivesci hot honey for an easy summer pizza idea.

Our new mini packs are available in Dunnes Stores, and independent retailers.

🙋‍♀️ Who likes garlic? For garlic lovers, here’s a simple, flavour-packed pizza to make at home.

Roasted garlic, pesto, cherry tomatoes, parmesan, and fresh wild garlic leaves on our Pizza da Piero sourdough base.

Roast the garlic until soft and golden, spread our pizza sauce and roasted garlic and pesto over your base, add your garlic leaves, Parmesan cheese and cherry tomatoes, and bake for 5 mins at 250°C oven until crisp.

* Top Tip: Place your cooked pizza on a wire rack for 1 minute for an extra crispy base!

We celebrated our eldest daughter’s 16th birthday over the weekend the best way we know how…making homemade veggie pizzas!

We used Piero’s homemade pizza bases from the freezer (lifesaver 🙌) and topped them with some seriously delicious flavours inspired by and .ie’s Dec’s hot honey.

Starting with Pestle Mortar Basil Pesto, goats cheese, mozzarella, Dec’s hot honey & microgreens recipe.

And a classic margherita with semi sun-dried tomatoes, eggs, a drizzle of Pestle Mortar Pesto & more of that sweet hot honey.

And no birthday is complete without cake 🎂 from one of our favourites, in Dun Laoghaire. A delicious cake selection of cheesecakes, large cake slices, choc biscuit cake, macarons, and brownie slices 🤤

Pizza night just got better...

Try our roasted vegetable salad with chickpeas and tahini dressing…the perfect fresh, side dish to pair with one of Piero’s favourites, a classic margherita!

A simple way to bring a little extra balance (and colour!) to your pizza night.

You will need:
●2 large handfuls of rocket
● 300 g carrots, diced
● 300 g butternut squash, diced
● 150 g parsnip, diced
● 7–8 small shallots, cut in half
● ½ teaspoon sea salt flakes
● 1 teaspoon dried thyme
● 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
● 200 g cooked chickpeas
● 80–100 g fresh pomegranate seeds

Ingredients for the dressing:
● 2½ tablespoons tahini (sesame paste)
● Juice of 1 lemon
● 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
● ½ teaspoon ground coriander
● A pinch of black pepper
