Berrytree - Café & Home Bakery

Despite best efforts and intentions, it is with a heavy heart that I inform you that berrytree won’t be reopening this week as planned (in time for the Arts Festival). 💔

This medical “situation” of mine doesn’t seem to want to loosen its grip on me just yet, so I have zero choice but to keep the café closed and weather the storm.

Brighter days will follow, however, and I hope to be back open before too long. With a bit of luck in the next couple of weeks.

I’m so sorry about our inconsistent hours over the last two months. It’s been quite a turbulent time for our family.

I hope you understand and will still come back for a visit and a chat when we reopen.

I genuinely miss being here for you.

We currently have an opening for a KITCHEN ASSISTANT and for FRONT OF HOUSE / BARISTA staff. These are part-time positions of +/- 20 hours a week, specifically Thursday, Friday and at least one weekend day (with the potential of more hours in busier periods and during summer).

Both positions call for someone who is motivated, cheerful, quick on the uptake and able to handle a bit of pressure.

Experience isn’t a must, but is a bonus. On-the-job training provided.
