Happy 7th birthday Finn!!! Hope you enjoyed your Lego cake!!! This is a tall chocolate sponge cake, I hand painted the eyes and the Ninjago logo! I also made all the Lego bricks and hand cut out the name and age😍😍 trying to get the right Lego font took a while but I got there in the end! It took around 6-8 hours just to decorate, it probably doesn’t seem like it would be that long but the painting is a slow process not to mention cutting out the name for each colour and each letter 😂 there was Lego figurines to go on top that they were providing themselves which is why I left thr back portion empty

It’s a soft circle of sponge dipped in melted chocolate and folded into a taco shape. Once the chocolate sets, it forms a crunchy shell! Then it’s filled with fluffy buttercream and decorated. The result?
