We are delighted to launch an exhibition of the award-winning Irish artist Glenn Matthews Art to Skinny Batch Bakery 👏🏻

Glenn is globally renowned for his bold and vibrant artwork, blending pop culture and social commentary. Not only has he exhibited internationally, but his work is also held in private collections around the world ⭐️

How lucky are we to have him in Lusk?! 👏🏻

Last week, we were lucky to have Paula & Niall from LuskCFR with us to train the Skinny Batch staff in the ‘Hands For Life’ first aid course and in how to use the newly installed AED at the front of the cafe (next to the bus stop).

This AED has been registered with National Ambulance Service so if it is ever needed, call 999/112, ask for National Ambulance Service and they can provide the code for the AED cabinet. The Skinny Batch staff have access to it also.

We are really happy to have such an essential community resource at our premises and while we hope that it is never needed, it’s great to know it’s there - from what we learned from Paula & Niall, an AED can really help save a life in the event of a cardiac arrest emergency 🙏🏻🙏🏻
