GardaΓ and Family Urgent Appeal for Information on Missing Kells Woman
Irish police have issued a public appeal for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 51-year-old Nichola Turner (also known as Nickie or Nikki McCormack), who has been missing from her home in Kells, County Meath, since Saturday, 20 June 2026.
According to An Garda SΓochΓ‘na, Nichola was last seen on Thursday, 18 June 2026, at approximately 1PM. Family members have expressed particular concern regarding her travel on Friday, 19 June, when she sailed as a foot passenger on the 1: 45 PM ferry from Dublin to Holyhead.Nichola is described as 5 feet 5 inches (approximately 165 cm) in height, of slim build, with auburn hair and green eyes. She is believed to have access to a blue Ford Mondeo with the Irish registration 151 MN.
GardaΓ and Nicholaβs family are βconcerned for her well-being.β Her sister, Julie McCormack, has shared an emotional public appeal asking anyone who may have spoken to Nichola on the ferry or taken photographs to come forward.Anyone with information on Nicholaβs whereabouts is urged to contact Kells Garda Station at (046) 928 0820, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 (anonymous), or any Garda station or Police station if spotted in the Uk.
This is an active missing person investigation. As of Tuesday, 23 June 2026, there have been no confirmed updates that Nichola has been located.
