Hello there!

It is me! Shelly from sweeter by Shel 🤩

I'm still here! Just been a lot going on and very little baking!

But I bring you my latest bake that I am quite proud of😄 even Though there was a lot of glitches and a lot of distractions and it didn't turn out how I expected but...overall I am proud of it!

When your 3 year old daughter asks for a rainbow cake for her birthday.. You are dam sure to deliver some form of rainbow cake for her🤭 I bring you an abstract Rainbow style cake😂

-So this is my first ever 4 layered cake 😍 And I am proud that my layers are getting more even!
-It is my first time colouring buttercream and using multi colours!

So is it how I wanted the cake to turn out? Nope but with all the distractions and all I have had going on I am still pretty glad with my effort! And I can say I have learned some tips for next time too which is another win win!I and the birthday girl really loved it too😍

It's not perfect but hey I'm no Mary Berry 😂

But Baking brings me joy and it brings me so much more joy when I get to bake for other people and they enjoy what I make for them😍

I was completely absent over the Christmas period. There was no baking done just relaxing and eating lots🤭

But.. Check out this super thoughtful present from my beautiful sister!!! .
I am so so happy with my new personalised apron and oven gloves!! Hopefully now less burning accidents from taking hot trays out with a towel🤭 I can't wait to put them to good use!!😍
