Thank you to everyone's kind words since I announced that this will be Kildare Treats last year in business, it's really meant a lot to hear how much everyone has enjoyed their cakes! I'm sorry to say that we will still be closing down this year but yes, July and August are currently available for orders. I've been looking back through some recent photos and realised I haven't posted any in awhile, so here are some of my favourites...

Thank you for a decade of memories...
I started Kildare Treats in 2011 as a way of earning a bit of extra money doing something I loved – baking! I started off with my kitchen oven and a handful of baking trays, a little bit of home baking knowledge and a page. Then, before I knew it I was asked to appear on Ireland AM and my business grew. I ended up opening a kiosk in the Ilac Shopping Centre in Dublin, building my own bakery and getting to work with some amazing staff - who made the work day feel more like hanging out with friends! I am so grateful to all of my customers who have continued to come back to me over the years, without your continued support Kildare Treats never would have lasted this long.
However, like so many businesses in the hospitality/events sector the last two years have been extremely tough and it has become obvious that this will be Kildare Treats last year in business. I am hoping to continue operating until the summer, but at the moment I am only able to confirm orders up until March (I can put your name down for April and May in the hopes of confirming them in the coming weeks)

I haven't posted any photos in awhile but I'm still making cake orders. I've had to make a few changes to the business, the biggest being that orders can only be collected Wed-Sat each week but if you ever need to check to see if a date is available for an order you can just go onto the website kildaretreats.com and check the booking availability calendar.
Here are just a few of the recent cake orders.

On the 28th of March when the restrictions on the country were increased we were forced to cease trading for awhile but some of our suppliers are now open again. There are limited levels of stock available and delays to our stock deliveries so for this reason for the time being we will only be able to produce orders for collection on Fridays and Saturdays each week, also orders must be finalised a week beforehand.

The current dates available for May are the 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd, 29th and 30th and for June the dates available are the 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 18th (limited), 19th, 20th, 25th (limited), 26th and 27th but please check the booking availability calendar on the website for up to date availability.

If you'd like to place an order for the 15th or 16th of May please make sure to contact us before this Thursday (the 7th).

To any of our customers who were already booked in for First Communion and Confirmation orders during April and May this year, you will be given priority for any new dates so as soon as you get your new date let me know and hopefully I can book you back in. Thanks, Orla
