20 years ago, we let a Frenchman into Ireland. 🇫🇷🇮🇪

Here’s how he’s getting on… 😂

Three kids, two crêperies, a love of Father Ted and dreams of being Mrs Doyle.

20 years later, Irish accents still confuse him, but he’s built a life here that he wouldn’t change for the world. ❤️

And when we asked what he’d tell his 2006 self?

“To come sooner.” 🥹

From France to Dalkey and Greystones, it’s been quite the adventure.

If you’ve met Julien at La Crêperie over the years, leave him a little message below. How long have you known him? 🥰

This is Rebloche weather. 🇫🇷🍂
Alpine reblochon cheese, potatoes, smoked Irish bacon, sautéed onions & crème fraîche, tucked into one of our warm golden buckwheat galettes.

Crispy on the outside. Very, very cheesy on the inside.

Swipe to the end and you’ll see what we mean.

A little detail waiting beneath your galette.

Our traditional Pornic plates are handpainted with a smiling little couple — hidden from view until the very last bite.

One of those small details we love about La Crêperie. 💙

Have you spotted them?

Dalkey Lobster Fest 2026 — what a weekend! 🦞
We had the best time serving up our very limited organic buckwheat lobster galettes to everyone who came out and queued for them. Merci to everyone who visited us, so many of you said the queue was worth it and we even spotted some beautiful people queuing twice! 🙌
Missed the fest? Pas de souci — it’s an annual event so we’ll see you next year. The good news is you don’t have to wait that long for our organic buckwheat galettes as they are our specialty all year round, just with a whole variety of other delicious fillings.🤍

Un grand merci to , , and all the hard working people of Dalkey who made it such a fun filled weekend.
