The last of the most beautiful spring primroses were used to garnish this Wildflower wedding cake for the lovely Jess & Patrick at the fabulous Shandon hotel 🌼❤️ Always nerve wracking transporting buttercream cakes in this weather 😬Top tier is my Lemon, Elderflower & Strawberry compote. Bottom tier was Spiced Carrot, Apple & Maple buttercream cake😋

Biodiversity week is in full swing across Donegal & in celebration I’ve whipped up a few Wild Sweet creations available in the marquee .🌼❤️ Choose from …Nettle, Honey & Raspberry Cakes. Gorse flower, Coconut & Lemon 🍋. Pear, Almond & Sweet Woodruff slices. Strawberry, Elderflower & Violet cupcakes 🧁 Big shout out to the fantastic local producers including for letting me loose in their flower garden for their delicious elderflower cordial & honey for elevating the flavour of my Nettle cakes. We have such a rich abundance of sweet & nutritious wild plants on this beautiful land & it’s fantastic to be able to celebrate these on our plates🐝🌱🌼
