Time to Hang Up the Apron (For Now!) 🧁👶💛
After nearly 6 incredible (and icing-covered) years of baking cakes, cookies, and all things sweet, I’ve made the big decision to press pause on my little baking business.
And no, it’s not because I’ve finally overdosed on buttercream (although it’s been close). It’s because I’m getting ready to welcome my first baby later this year! 👶💫
This next chapter feels exciting and a bit surreal, and as I prepare for it, I know I need to take a step back from the oven and focus on family life (and probably learn how to sleep sitting up).
To everyone who has ordered, recommended, cheered me on, or eaten cake for breakfast because of me — THANK YOU. You’ve helped turn a passion project into something truly special. A huge THANK YOU to Bernie for all her help along the way without her none of this would have been possible without.
A huge shoutout to the amazing coffee shops and coffee trailers who stocked my bakes, shared my treats with your customers, and kept me going with both hot chocolate and kindness. You’ve been an essential (and delicious) part of this journey, and I’m so grateful for your continued support.
I’m not saying “forever” — just “for now.” Who knows what the future holds? (Probably nappies and cold cups of tea for a while.) But cake might make a comeback one day… just don’t unfollow me yet 😉🎂
