Iโ€™m still taking this inโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ’›

To be named this yearโ€™s Producersโ€™ Champion by truly means more than I can put into words. To be recognised by the very producers I admire, work with, and try to support every day is an honour that feels incredibly special.

Everything Iโ€™ve done, from the to my books to sharing producers online in my A-Z, has come from a genuine love of Irish food and the people behind it.

We are so lucky in this country to have such passionate, talented makers, growers and creatives, and Iโ€™ve always just wanted to shine a light on that.

Thank you to everyone who nominated me and to this amazing community for trusting me to help tell your stories. Iโ€™ll continue to champion you in every way I can.

Welcome back to my Aโ€“Z of Irish Food Producers, this week, weโ€™re on the letter I! ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช

Iโ€™m sharing a simple and wholesome favourite from my book Cook: Porridge & Yogurt Bread, made with natural live yogurt from .

Itโ€™s incredibly easy, just mix everything together and bake in a lined 2lb loaf tin at 175ยฐC for 45โ€“55 minutes.

Ingredients:
350g porridge oats
500g natural yogurt
1 egg, beaten
2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 tsp salt
50g mixed seeds
A dash of milk, if required

Thatโ€™s it, no fuss, just good, honest baking.

Welcome to the letter G in my Aโ€“Z of Irish Food Producers and what a glorious letter it is. G is for truly great, generous, and gastronomic gems!

Tonight, Iโ€™m keeping things simple and letting some exceptional ingredients shine. A slice of & treacle bread, generously spread with butter, layered with a blend of crรจme fraรฎche and horseradish, crisp baby gem, and beautifully smoked trout with trout roe from . On the side, a punchy serving of Grahamโ€™s Mustard pickles ties it all together.

Simple and seriously delicious.
