📸 Found an old picture of the former McCambridge bakery store at Elmwood House no.35. Taken around the mid 80’s.

This is the exact spot where the McCambridge story began. The bakery opened by Malcolm McCambridge in 1945.

Through the 1950s and 60s, Malcolm’s son John made McCambridge Irish Stoneground Wholewheat Bread famous across Ireland and beyond.

Today, the team is led by John’s son Michael McCambridge.

These oats have been grown and then processed using a certified system designed to avoid contamination with cereals containing gluten.

This product is listed on the Coeliac Society of Ireland and Coeliac UK Food Lists. 😊

How delicious does this look for breakfast? 😍
We love our McCambridge bread served with fruit. Here we have a layer of cream cheese with sliced and roasted figs on top.

Figs a highly nutritious fruit. Their fibre, potassium, and antioxidant content can help control blood pressure, aid digestion, help with your weight loss journey. It also helps to protects your heart, prevents constipation, cures reproductive problems and may also support strong joints.

When it comes to raw figs, you can easily have 2-3 in a day. If you are having dried figs, stick to no more than 3 figs per day but you should soak them overnight first. Our body can absorb the nutrients and digest some dried fruits and nuts in a better way when they are soaked well.
