At the Firehouse we offer food as it should be, simple dishes, quality produce, comfort food with a touch of class. We have made Heir Island situated in West Cork a short drive from Skibereen our home so that we can offer a unique culinary experience where the view is as amazing as the food. At the Firehouse Bakery individually crafted loaves, stone baked pizzas hot from the clay oven as well as

both sweet and savoury treats will be waiting for you. At the Firehouse Bread School we want to to accompany you beyond the limitations of bread books and take you on a hands on journey through the world of real bread. We are offering one day courses which aims to take the fear out of bread making and return bread to its rightful place as 'King of the Table'. Soda breads, yeasted loaves, savoury snacks and sweet treats, together we will make them all. Come join us at the Firehouse
